Grant | Rural Development Agency England LEADER Funding
This was a large application made with the Co-Director of Really Lovely Projects to provide state of the art stretch tents for the community in the town of Lostwithiel, Cornwall. By obtaining the rural development grant we were able to purchase two large tents that completed an outdoor stage for arts events held throughout the year. Partnerships were made with match funders to achieve an exciting community resource for this rural area.
Award
School Award | SSAT Leading Edge Exceptional Education
I led a large secondary school through the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust's (SSAT) Framework for Exceptional Education. This entailed undertaking a detailed evaluation of the school's practice in three of nine areas of school improvement. Through visits from partner schools and highly qualified professionals, I gained all three accreditations with the school becoming the first in the UK to do so. Working with staff from the school, I visited other high-achieving secondary schools and produced useful summaries to inform the school's own development.
Charity
Charity | Par Bay Community Trust
I continue to support Par Bay Community Trust in their vision to provide community facilities for Par, St Blazey and Tywardreath, Cornwall. Successful bids have enabled renovation and improvements as well as activities that help the most vulnerable in the area. I have also carried out grant and charity data monitoring and analysis, producing reports for trustees and funders. This work has allowed their community building to thrive and provide inclusive opportunities across the area.
Evaluation
Evaluation | Diaspora Carols
In celebration of the Cornish diaspora, I worked with a team of creatives from across Cornwall to stage a tour of 19th century Cornish carols. Having successfully achieved funding from Arts Council England and Feast, I analysed the impact of the project, identifying how any future concerts could be improved for participants and audiences.
